June 2010
Dear Friends:
We had a wonderful turnout for our 2010
Annual Benefit Reception and Silent Auction! Thanks to all who came out to support land protection and
land conservation in Orange County! Thanks to our Benefit Committee
and our corporate and community sponsors and congratulations to our
honorees- the local family foundations and funds that have provided
significant support to the Land Trust. Our annual reception is our
largest annual fundraiser and this year nearly250 people attended, helping us raise
$70,000 in all for the protection of our working farms, wildlife
habitats and waterways! Thank
you for your support!
If you weren't able to attend this
event, there are other ways to get involved and support the Land
Trust. Join us for a hike, or volunteer to remove invasive plant
species or plant trees in riparian buffer areas on our nature
preserves or other conserved lands. Volunteering is a great addition
to a resume for a high school student or college student home for the
summer!
