OCLT Awarded Accreditation
The Orange County Land Trust has been awarded accreditation from the Land Trust Accreditation Commission, an independent program of the Land Trust Alliance. After a long two year process, our hard work has paid off and we are delighted to be able Accreditation seal to display the seal indicating that we meet national standards for excellence and adhere to best practice guidelines when stewarding and protecting land in perpetuity. The seal is a mark of distinction in land protection and the OCLT is one of only 280 land trusts across the country that have been awarded accreditation since the program began in 2008.
“Orange County Land Trust’s accredited status demonstrates our commitment to permanent land conservation that benefits the entire community,” said Marlena Lange, Orange County Land Trust President. “Our land trust is a stronger organization today having gone through the rigorous accreditation program.”
Many thanks to our Board of Directors, staff and volunteers and to the Land Trust Accreditation Commission for their work ensuring the permanence of conservation.
