Cosimo's Restaurants to Donate 10% of its Dinner Receipts to Land Trust on
Orange County Land Trust Night- Tuesday, July 10
Orange County, NY —
June 25, 2007
Two of Cosimo's restaurants in Orange County will host a fundraiser for the Orange County Land Trust on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 beginning at 5 pm.
Cosimo's on Union in the Town of Newburgh and Cosimo's Brick Oven Woodbury in Central Valley will donate 10% of the dinner receipts (excluding tax and tip) from diners who say they have come in support of the Orange County Land Trust.
Supporters can patronize either of these two restaurants for dinner between the hours of 5 pm and 9:30 pm. All proceeds will enable the land trust to protect and preserve more land and open space throughout Orange County.
As Orange County remains the fastest growing county in New York State, friends of the land trust are urged to come out and show support for preserving the rolling hills, rich farmland and scenic vistas that make Orange County a beautiful place to live.
The Orange County Land Trust is a nonprofit organization dedicated to voluntary land conservation in the county. Through acquisition, placement of conservation easements and land donation, the land trust has protected over 3,000 acres of land including wetlands, fields, forests, working farms and scenic vistas. The land trust operates eight preserves that are open to the public, free of charge. For more information, please visit the website at oclt.org.
