Preserve REBOOT- Orange County Land Trust
Preserve REBOOT seeks to revitalize the Orange County Land Trust’s nature preserves for the benefit of the community. Your contributions will directly support improvement projects that will enhance the visitor experience at our preserves!
Since March, Orange County Land Trust’s nature preserves have seen more visitors than ever before. We are glad to have so many neighbors and friends using our preserves, welcome!
To better accommodate this increase in foot traffic, Orange County Land Trust is asking for your help with a series of improvements that will enhance public access, improve and maintain trails, and provide visitors with an enjoyable experience at all of our preserves.
When the COVID-19 health crisis swept through New York State and the Hudson Valley, many people looked outdoors for alternatives to their regular social and recreational activities, yearning for the comfort and simple freedoms of nature when other recreational and social options outside the home were shuttered. Many found refuge in our preserves.
As our region continues to reopen, a rediscovered interest in getting into the great outdoors has not waned. The projects featured in this Preserve REBOOT campaign will help achieve our goals and benefit thousands of people across the mid-Hudson Valley region. Thank you for supporting land conservation and the Orange County Land Trust!
