In 2022, the family of the late Jerome Spector, in partnership with the Orange County Land Trust, launched the Jerome Spector Stewardship Fund.
Jerome’s kinship with the natural world helped inspire his volunteer spirit, stewardship ethic, and generosity.
Nature has an astonishing ability to bring comfort, ease, and joy to people. Bridging these personal connections with the land was essential to Jerome’s vision.
The Jerome Spector Stewardship Fund aims to continue fostering these connections by supporting projects that:
• Expand public access and opportunities for outdoor recreation.
• Improve trail systems and restoration of habitats.
• Provide opportunities for outdoor recreation, nature-based education, and volunteerism.
• Advance land conservation in key priority areas.
