Land Trust Accreditation
The land trust accreditation program recognizes land conservation organizations that meet national quality standards for protecting important natural, scenic, agricultural, working and recreational lands forever.
Orange County Land Trust was awarded accreditation in 2014 and 2020 and is pleased to announce it is applying for renewal of accreditation. A public comment period is now open.
The Land Trust Accreditation Commission, an independent program of the Land Trust Alliance, conducts an extensive review of each applicant’s policies and programs. Renewing its accreditation will certify that Orange County Land Trust continues to meet national standards for excellence and permanence in its conservation work.
In applying for renewal of accreditation, Orange County Land Trust is demonstrating its commitment to permanently protect conserved land that benefits all of the residents of Orange County and the surrounding areas.
